BELONG
“BELONG aims to improve outcomes for Black Minority Ethnic children and young people across the Southern area of Northern Ireland.
The overarching outcome for the Programme is to promote a sense of belonging . The intention is to realise this through achieving the following more specific outcomes:
To increase cultural confidence and competence;
To increase participation in clubs and schools; to increase educational achievement of Traveller Children;
To reduce bullying and racial bullying; and
To increase resilience;
BELONG will aim to achieve this by offering a number of activities through three interlinked programmes:
Cultural Competence and Confidence
Anti-Bullying and Anti Racial Bully
Education” Minority Ethnic Support
